You are "THE ONE" for me!

When a friend of mine told me that meeting "hey, he is THE ONE" is absolutely a perfect moment to cherish. Saying "I LOVE YOU" for the first time to him is like clicking bomb. Everything  turned out to be wonderful especially when the word "wedding" came out and be the topic of our conversation one night.

There were a lot (A LOT) ups and downs but I am very glad we made it. We made it with laughter and tears, we made it till we said the sacred words "I DO" to each other, we made it till we met all families, we made it till every quarrels and arguments, we made it till I want to say "today" (the day I start to write this blog).

We are preparing for the "it" day. Ton of things to handle and to argue (hey, where does that come from eh?) but not to forget, we are extremely grateful for everyone who is there to help us.

They say "being single is better but being double is GREAT" and I don't believe it even for a second for the last couple of months. Well, gone through a rough path of love life will make you feel that way, I guess. I know, I know it's a lame excuse but it is indeed the truth.

And now what I really want everyone to know is I am happy. I am truly happy that I finally found "THE ONE" for me. My life is now perfect and I thank God for that! I really am!

He is a wonderful man (when he is not ANGRY or not in his BAD MOOD) and he loves me very much for who I am. What a lucky b*tch I am, eh? #countingblessingeveryday

And there is a saying "You are part of a puzzle in someone's life. You may never know where you fit but, someone's life may never be complete without you in it." and for now, I am complete.

In memoriam of our dear friends

In the beginning of 2012, a lot of us lost a very dear friend, Randy Yan Putra through the news of their sudden death (with Adesagi Kierana). Many of us have shared our memories, thoughts and feelings about Randy and Ade. 

Hearing the news of Randy’s death on January 01, 2012 was absolutely devastating for me, a total shock. He was a dear friend of mine, a very gentle and loving person, a non-judgmental character, kind, sweet and many more good things to say about him. 

I miss all those jokes, I miss all those gentle gesture, I miss all those times we spent – curhating about whatever shit that happened in life, I miss the cocky yet sincere smiles, I miss all those funny comments and on top of that, I miss YOU! 

Randy Yan, I now believe you are in a better place now. Rest in peace, my dear friend. You will be truly missed by all of us. The thought and memories will stay and it has been an honor of knowing you and thank you for being a dear friend of mine.

The broken relationship

Truth to be told, I have been dealing with couple of broken relationships that tear my heart apart but the heart gains several thoughts & ding ding ding, some relationships are meant to be broken!

To waste our anger and resentments is not the way to do it to express our hurt feelings. Same goes to invalidating that person's feelings and ignoring their legitimate concerns will prove to be equally ineffective as well. So why even bother to try to fix everything?

My ultimate goal of communication is reconciliation and forgiveness, then the sooner we stop all the behaviors that are about shaming, guilting and punishing one of another, the sooner we will be able to forgive and work on the issues that need to be addressed. Well apparently I did my part and it doesn't work out the way it should be so again, why bother to try to fix everything?

One thing led to another, when you break up with someone you love boldly & truly, it really hurts! All the history & good times together once shared, you feel so heartbroken & try to figure out what the hell went wrong which in my case, I already knew it from the start.

But like the wise people said, sometimes a relationship ends simply because it has come to natural end of its life. I believe some relationships have a limited time, let's make it fun - an expired date to it. It doesn't mean the relationship was bad or worthless, it can simply mean that you are now moving in different directions and want different things from life.

Just like other life affirming relationships that we treasure, relationships with lovers, husbands, siblings, children and even pets, out closest friendships are imperfect. Friendships are fraught with disappointments and misunderstandings, resulting in some of the highest highs and the lowest lows of our emotional lives.

For me, I do miss the old times of everything that placed as it was but again, if the relationships that we built so strong are meant to be broken, then why even bother to fix it?

Sunday brunch

Last Sunday we went to try this new restaurant in town calls "Negev" and its own by the actress Tamara Bleszynski & her "very cute" hubby Mike Lewis. It's located at City Plaza. If you know where Blowfish is, then it's so easy for you to find Negev. The interior of the restaurant is fabulous & the design of the restaurant is breath-taking. We kind of like the food there but it's a HUGE NO for the steak!! I hope they will realize it and change the meat grade and I will surely go back there again for another session of food hunting with friends :)

The night to Ocha Bella

It was me, Ling & Roy - the three of us went to dinner appointment to Ocha Bella that night as myself & Ling haven't have the chance to try it. We were mesmerized by the design of the restaurant but we were disappointed with the food there. What I can recommend is only "TIRAMISU" because it tastes fantastic. Maybe next time we will go there for tea time & another session of tiramisu again but definitely not for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Union

Was having a quick family lunch couple of weeks ago with sister & aunty to this new "hip" restaurant at Plaza Senayan calls "Union" and I can say, the restaurant is perfect & we love the food. From entree till dessert and we were satisfied. The worst thing is only the reservation thingy. I hate it as it's always fully-booked & it took a week time period for aunty to book that table.
